Try looking at your options for where to put the 2 in the top row. For example, if you place the two next to the 9, what options are left for other 2s in the puzzle? What about if it's next to the 7?

Is this the only way? Any other input.

It's the only way I can see. Looks like you need to essentially guess. David's method works well - you rapidly get a contradiction which you can see by eye.
